What is Web Hosting?
Web hosting is the storage of your website's files, database and email on a server that is permanently connected to the internet, so visitors can reach them. A domain name is your site's address; hosting is where the content published at that address lives. CAP Hosting packages run on NVMe SSD disks on Linux servers managed with the CWP control panel.
What is the CWP Control Panel?
CWP (Control Web Panel) is the control panel you use to manage your hosting account from a browser. Website files, email accounts, MySQL databases, FTP accounts, subdomains, SSL certificates and backups are all managed from a single screen. The CWP control panel is included in all of our web hosting packages.
What Does NVMe SSD Storage Provide?
NVMe SSD disks offer much lower latency and higher read/write speeds than classic SATA SSD and HDD disks. As a result, pages, images and database queries respond faster, which is especially noticeable on WordPress and e-commerce sites. All of our web hosting packages run on NVMe SSD storage.
Which Hosting Package Should I Choose?
Choose based on how many sites you will host and how much disk space you need: Starter (1 site, 5 GB), Standard (3 sites, 10 GB), Pro (10 sites, 25 GB, Node.js support) and Corporate (25 sites, 50 GB, Node.js and priority support). Our packages are Linux-based and suitable for PHP/MySQL software such as WordPress, OpenCart and Laravel; they are not suitable for sites that require ASP.NET or MSSQL. If you are unsure, start with a smaller package and upgrade later.
How are Hosting Prices Determined?
Web hosting prices are based on package resources such as disk space, traffic and the number of sites and email accounts. We invest in automation and infrastructure to keep costs down and offer hosting at an affordable price.
When will my hosting service be activated?
Our hosting services are activated instantly after your order and are immediately ready to use.
Do I pay any hidden fees?
Apart from the prices shown on our website, only legally required taxes are added to our hosting services. There are no operational fees or additional setup charges.
I want to move my website to you. Do you handle the migration?
Yes. We migrate your website, email and database from another provider to your CWP account free of charge. Simply submit your migration request through our support system.
Which Software is Compatible with Your Hosting?
Our hosting is compatible with almost all open-source and licensed (ionCube, Zend, etc.) software running on PHP 8.x and MySQL. For example, WordPress, OpenCart, Joomla, Magento, PrestaShop, Laravel and CodeIgniter run without issues. Node.js is also supported on the Pro and Corporate packages.
What is Free SSL?
An SSL certificate creates an encrypted channel between the web server and the visitor's computer, preventing private data such as credit card details, account information and passwords from being stolen. SSL certificates are free on all of our web hosting packages and are installed automatically within 24 hours of purchase.
How Does Hosting Work?
To use hosting, you first need a domain name. Registering a domain gives your website a name that represents it on the internet. When you buy hosting, you will be asked to register a new domain, transfer one, or specify a domain you already own. You make this choice after adding a product to your cart.
Yes. With a hosting package you can create email addresses on your own domain name. Email accounts are included as part of the hosting service.
Do you take backups?
Yes. We back up all our servers and hosting services regularly every week. In addition, we take daily image-based backups of all our systems against disasters and disk failures. If you delete data on your site or want an older backup restored, you can request it from our technical team.
What security measures do you take?
We keep our software up to date and monitor all our servers 24/7 so that possible outages are detected early. Our infrastructure includes systems that scan for and block security threats. Security issues are more often caused by software or database programming errors or by users than by the hosting service itself, so we recommend using up-to-date, licensed software and strong passwords.
